De Lisle College is situated on Thorpe Hill opposite Charnwood College. The College has its own entrance which leads past the playing fields to the college car park. The swimming pool is adjacent to the car park.

About the Pool

This is a well maintained 25 metre swimming pool. As part of the college it is kept in very good order. The pool itself has a depth of 1 meter at the shallow end and a 2 metre depth at the deep end divided approximately 2/3rd shallow and 1/3 deep. As it does not have a gradient in the shallow end it is ideal for teaching.

Changing Facilities

The pool is designed to meet the needs of the college and therefore it has good, separate gender changing facilities, showers and toilets. Pushchair/wheelchair access available. Clients 8 years + must use the appropriate changing room applicable to their gender.

To prevent the spread of disease, please remove your shoes when in the changing room and showers

Viewing

Viewing at De Lisle is restricted to chairs on the poolside and is restricted to parent/guardian of a named child.  We respectfully request that teachers are not interrupted, other children watching are kept away from the pool edge and spectators do not approach their children whilst they are in the pool. There is plenty of good parking directly outside of the pool.
