What an amazing swimming school, Nicole has been fantastic with regards to communication, support and her attitude throughout has been a real inspiration. I would highly recommend Core Aquatics to anyone who is looking for a friendly and safe environment for their child’s first swimming experience. Truly worth 5 stars!
Second review from me after my son has joined Core Aquatics. It’s been a good spell of time now that my son has joined nearly a year. Still happy with him being there and how he is being taught. No negatives. Sometimes feel he should move on into a group up. But watching him he has progressed but still needs a little more coaching with strokes. I trust Nicole in her judgement and feel she is brilliant teacher in swimming . Still recommend her to anyone.
As a teacher working at Core Aquatics, I can honestly say Core is an amazing swim school. Communication within swim schools is often not great, with parents and swimmers rarely being able to speak to teachers – however Nicole speaks regularly to parents and has even set up Communication evenings, where swimmers can speak to us teachers freely and find out exactly how well they are progressing, as opposed to those few seconds on poolside. The small class sizes mean swimmers spend more time learning and having fun! Teachers are in the water for many classes – something not often seen in swimming lessons. Core Aquatics is a real gem of a swim school, offering the care and attention needed when learning and developing those essential swimming skills.
I am so glad we booked a course of one to one lessons with Core Aquatics for our daughter. She had been attending group swimming lessons elsewhere for a long time but struggled with confidence in the water. After 5 lessons with Core Aquatics, the difference is amazing. She is now full of confidence in the water and is swimming unaided for the first time. She also really enjoys her lessons now. I have now booked her on to group lessons with Core Aquatics and she can’t wait to start those in September.
Nicole has been amazing in supporting my son with his swimming. He loves water, but gets upset and clingy in swimming pools. We still have the odd moment where there are tears – but overall we are so proud of the progress he’s made! Thanks Core Aquatics xx
My daughter joined to the weekly lesson in core aquatics in July 2017 and I can honestly say I m very impressed with how organised the school is with a great communication between parent and instructors. The teachers knows the swimmers individually, giving a personalised support with lots of techniques. The development of my daughter has shown in a relatively short period of time is very pleasing to me and I m sure was the best decision I made after changed from the previous swimming club,where she was for the past 2 years. My daughter attends Penny’s classes, she is a fantastic swimming instructor. The classes are small and the teachers are in the water. Nicole are very friendly and caring with every one. I highly recommend this swimming school!
Absolutely thrilled to have joined Core Aquatics for my little boys swimming lessons. Nicole rang after his first lesson to ask how he’d found it and to give me some personalised feedback about his swimming and what she is going to work on to improve his technique. The individual care and feedback has been fantastic and I feel absolutely confident that he is in the very best hands!
Both my children loves their lessons with Core Aquatics, teachers are excellent and very professional. After a poor start at another swim school for my eldest Nicole has been able to give her the confidence to really excel at the strokes and my youngest just loves his group sessions with Emma, a lot of fun for him each week. Can’t recommend them enough, never thought my eldest would enjoy lessons after a bad start elsewhere. Thank you x
We take our 4 year old to 121 sessions with Core Aquatics in WB & we love it! He’s only on his 5th or 6th session & coming on so well with his instructor Richard.
As with any preschoolers it can be hard to keep their attention but Richard is brilliant with our boy & easily accommodates anything that catches his eye into the lesson. The sessions flow really easily & our little boy’s confidence has grown with each one.
My 4 year old is particularly nervous and is a timid little boy. He cried his heart out whilst waiting to go in but Nicole came over and took him to the pool in her arms, providing constant reassurance on the way. He then entered the pool for his lesson with Emma. He was shaking and still crying at this point. Emma kept him in her arms until he felt comfortable to let go. She talked to him consistently and involved him in the lesson along with all of the other children so he felt empowered and more confident. Within 10-15 minutes he was looking up at me smiling and giving thumbs up, and at the end of the lesson was excited for next week. Far and above the best set of instructors I’ve come across. And this is our fourth attempt. Thank you guys.
